• I’m teaching two courses this Fall: a course on data structures and data manipulation for students in the humanities (mostly grad students in History and English) and graduate seminar on Theory of New Media.
• Working on another book. I’d call it Keywords of Computation if that weren’t (a) a bit of a cliché and (b) taken. But basically, it’s a bunch of philosophical/philological meditations on words like “bit,” “random,” “algorithm,” “program,” “interface,” and so on.
• Trying to spend more time with pen and paper both for general writing and composing music (okay, mostly pencil for the latter).
• Playing around with my newest musical toy: the Woovebox. All I can say so far it that this tiny piece of gear is surprisingly deep and powerful.
